Ashley Robin is a musicianship coach, clinician, singer, songwriter, and producer based in New York City. She's performed and studied music for 18 years, and taught music for 13. She's studied vocal technique, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Classical Vocal Performance and a Master's Degree in Jazz Vocal Performance, and gaining valuable experience as a professional, self-produced recording artist and performer, and background vocalist for the likes of Victory Boyd, Todd Galberth, and more.
Ashley Robin is known for bringing enthusiasm, passion, and attention to detail everything she touches. Since 2011, she's taught vocal technique, performance practice, ear training, songwriting, and production to people of varying backgrounds and goals--serving everyone from beginners, to choirs and praise and worship teams, to signed and emerging recording artists backed by industry legends (like Pharrell Williams) and background vocalists for major artists, like Lana Del Rey and Burna Boy. Her experience includes R&B, Hip Hop, Pop, Jazz, Soul, Gospel, Contemporary Christian, and Classical. She is best known for her content surrounding the modes of the major scale, but also teaches general ear training, vocal technique, performance technique, songwriting, arranging, and music production via her self-owned virtual academy, The Robin’s Nest.
