No. While it will include some basic ear training exercises at the beginning, students with very little to no ear training should work on basics first. (If this is you, you can book an ear training session with me here!)
This course is meant to introduce you to each mode, build your dexterity in each, sharpen your ear to hear the modes in practice, and begin to use them yourself! You don’t need to have prior knowledge of modes to succeed here, but you should be at least at an intermediate level on the instrument of your choice.
This course is completely self-led! You can complete this course at your own pace, whenever you want, from wherever you are in the world.
Yes, so that you can tune in and learn whenever is convenient for you. If you decide to register with the deluxe package, you’ll be able to schedule a live 1-1 session with Ashley Robin at the best time for you.

Nope! There are a few installment options available to you at the payment window. So you can pay as you go!
Every registration has a 7-day money back guarantee. If you get through the first week of information, and feel it’s just not for you, you’ll receive a full refund, and you’ll get to keep the written Modal Exercise Collection as a gift.
No, you’ll have access to the course as long as the internet exists. 🥳
The more frequently and effectively you practice, the greater success you’ll have with these scales. You don’t need to spend hours and hours daily, but you definitely should do at least 15 minutes of focused practice a day. (Keyword: focused!) You will always know exactly what to practice, so you just need to be consistent.
